Labor Protection
When performing work on industrial safety and labor protection, preventing occupational accidents and diseases, the “Production safety system of Kazbarley LLP” and the “Provision for the operational control of the compliance with the industrial safety requirements at the hazardous production facilities of Kazbarley LLP” are used. The Kazbarley LLP Production Safety System establishes universal standards for control system components related to industrial, fire, electricity, radiation safety, and labor protection.
The “Provision for the Operational Control of the Compliance with the Industrial Safety Requirements at the Hazardous Production Facilities of Kazbarley LLP” establishes a uniform procedure for operational control in all structural divisions and subsidiaries of Kazbarley LLP, with the participation of senior officers and professionals from the production services and offices in the implementation of preventive measures. The Company’s criteria for governing the operations of the production control services have been updated to comply with applicable legal requirements. To ensure the security of production operations, Kazbarley LLP has implemented “Regulations on the Industrial Safety Management System” and “Regulations on Contractor Admission and the Safe Production Work Organization.”
The following standards apply: “Standard for Design of Kazbarley LLP Facilities” and “Organization Standard.” Uniform forms of documentation of the works on industrial safety and labor protection at Kazbarley LLP” have been developed with the goal of improving labor discipline, labor protection, and industrial safety, as well as clarifying records management procedures and designing signs and pointers at Kazbarley LLP’s oil facilities. The Company’s structural divisions reach labor protection agreements on an annual basis, which supplement the Kazbarley LLP Collective Agreement, to improve work on creating safe and healthy working conditions in accordance with the Russian Federation’s Labor Code and Recommendations for Planning Labor Protection Measures.
A complex of corporate IT systems helps to support the industrial safety, labor, and environmental protection plan. The automatic process control system (ASU TP) ensures technical safety by automating industrial processes and providing remote control of facilities without the need for constant staff presence. The video monitoring system monitors industrial operations such as drilling, workover, and remedial well repair, significantly improving technological and industrial discipline at facilities.
The sites feature automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems to ensure fire safety. The radio channel that connects all of the refinery’s fire alarm signals to the fire department’s control panel has cut the amount of false alarm signals in half. Information technology is utilized to certify the company’s engineering and technical staff in labor protection and occupational safety.

The Company has traditionally recognized the relevance and value of fundamental human rights and freedoms as declared by the United Nations.

Organizations dealing with social policy, labor, freedom of association, and the right to organize and engage in collective bargaining, as well as the Social Charter of Russian Business, in connection to multinational corporations. The Company respects and upholds each employee’s right to collective bargaining, trade union membership, and collective representation. The Company examines its human rights operations as part of a routine evaluation of corporate practices, which includes self-assessment of the Company’s management bodies.
