General Information

Kazbarley LLP is one of the most reputable organizations in the oil and gas industry. It is a thriving corporation with a long history and strong traditions. It is a leader in applying innovative techniques, technology, and social responsibility norms. We generate oil! We can improve national wealth, shareholder interests, and social cohesion through oil extraction, all of which benefit our own country’s success.

Kazbarley LLP is not only one of Kazakhstan’s biggest gas and oil producers, suppliers, and exporters, but it is also a key trader and exporter of petroleum products. Kazbarley LLP upstream offshore projects produce oil, gas, and gas condensate in Kazakhstan and other countries, as well as process, distribute, and market oil, gas, and petroleum products.

Kazbarley LLP produces a variety of oil products. The commodities included include bitumen of various grades (for use on roofs, buildings, and roads), petroleum coke, liquefied hydrocarbon gases, oil fuel (mazout), motor gasoline, diesel fuel, and vacuum gas oil. The refinery’s structure is divided into four complexes: the primary distillation of crude oil (LK-6U), the compounding and oil product dispatch complex, the advanced processing of crude oil (a fuel complex, KT-1 for deep processing of fuel oil), and the heavy oil residue processing complex, which includes multiple process units such as a delayed coking unit, a delayed coking unit, and a delayed coking unit.

Units include coke calcination, bitumen production, sulfur recovery, and sulfur granulation. The refinery has two big auxiliary facilities: oil sludge processing and hydrogen production, as well as the Central Refinery Laboratory (CRL). Two new process unit complexes, the Isomerization and Naphtha Splitter unit and the Complex of Sulfur Recovery Units, were built as part of the upgrading project and began operation at the Refinery in December 2017. The purpose of creating and establishing the twelve new U&O locations was to use them for ordinary business.

The refinery has a proactive social policy in place that establishes the necessary conditions for living, work, and worker health. Currently, the refinery’s top priorities are meeting national demand for motor fuels with ecological classes K4, K5, increasing output for a three-year repair cycle, expanding technical capabilities, and producing Jet A jet fuel that meets international standards—all firsts for the refinery.
